去年7月台北小巨蛋的 Final Final Home 演唱會仍櫪櫪在目, 各地紅衣的五迷忘情呼喊聲仍在耳邊。

Today is a magnificent date marking the 1st Tour de France in London and remembrances to the 2005 attacks and  七七事变. 

Tour de France is the biggest annual sporting event in the world.  For the first time it starts in London and today is the 7.9km prologue.  There are thousand of fans and many roads are closed fro the race in greater London.  So I parked in Craven Hill to avoid traffic and took a pleasant walk through Hyde Park despite the crowd of the Tour de France.  On route to Harrods I took a look at the good old Bite Quad and passed RSM and Mews.  So much has changed that IC has a new main entrance by MechEng, Bite Hall has a nice modern common room and there are more building works on the F & K house. 

There are so many people and tourists on the street as well as in the shops (it is July sales time though).  And because of the roads closure I had a good walk from Knightsbridge to Shaftsbury Avenue along with the crowd.  It is strange to be able to walk on the normally very busy streets at the Hyde Park Corner roundabout but I was exhausted in the heat. 

賦閑在家, 翻出些珍藏 K-drama 重看。從這齣劇開始留意金晶和김정화 及姜棟元강동원, 雖然他們的演出有點生硬但俊男美女組合還算賞心悅目。金晶和另外一套跟李莞拍的《白雪公主》也很好看輕鬆惹笑。刻下剛大結局SBS的《錢的戰爭쩐의전쟁 》正是她自05年以來第一齣連續劇。

雖然今年英國七月份還下冰雹, 但美國運來的櫻桃已在各超市上架了~ 今日在馬莎見到嬌美粉嫩顆顆飽滿的黃櫻桃 Rainier cherry。馬上心情也好起來, 雖然£11/kg, 但實在好吃不買不快! 況且只是兩個月產期而已。

小時侯在香港已非常喜歡吃車厘子(=櫻桃), 以前街市還有外表豔紅的'山東櫻桃'賣, 不過好酸嘅~ 還是從美國運到的鮮嫩甜美。最有名的甜櫻桃品種Bing Cherry是由Mr. Lewelling的一個中國工人命名而來的。至於Rainer品種是由Dr. Harold W. Fogle在華盛頓州大學研究室用Bing和Van兩種品種所雜交出來的品種。
